The Woodley Wardman condominiums in NW are coming. Slowly but surely, the project is being put together, with expected delivery in late 2010 or early 2011.
(Rendering of Woodley Wardman)
Named after Harry Wardman, a developer who built much of the neighborhood, the Woodley-Wardman will house 39 condo units. The condominiums will be the product of restoring four historic townhouses, as well as adding a 7-story tower in the back along the alley. Once completed, Woodley Wardman will offer residents a variety of living spaces, including studio, one, two, and three bedroom units. The condominiums will also vary in price, ranging from 300k to over 2 million dollars. Woodley-Wardman is a MMG Development property, and you can see their website here.
Set right on Connecticut Avenue in the historic Woodley Park community, the Woodley-Wardman will offer its residents easy access to so many neighborhoods in DC. Dupont Circle, Adams Morgan, Cleveland Park, and Columbia Heights are all within a couple of miles from the Woodley-Wardman. These areas already have numerous DC Condo buildings to choose from, and Woodley Wardman will be yet another addition.
Woodley-Wardman will offer contemporary kitchen cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, full-size laundry centers, granite counter tops, and Kohler plumbing fixtures. The bathrooms will have contemporary cabinets, consoles, vanity tops and sinks, and ceramic and porcelain tile. In addition to these features, Woodley Wardman residents will also enjoy luxuries like private roof terraces, balconies, and garage parking(which is HUGE in Woodley Park)
