* The C & O Canal was charted in 1825 which serves as an excellent way of the demonstrating the technology of the 19th century canal in Georgetown.
* The Dumbarton House was built in 1800 which shows the Federal period style of furniture of the late 18th and 19th centuries. Visit the Dumbarton House, which is located at 2715 Q Street, NW in Georgetown to view the furnitue and the accessories from this home.
