More Development Coming to DC’s NoMa Neighborhood!
The NoMa neighborhood is getting more additions. According to Missy Frederick of the Washington Business Journal, the newcomers will include more places to eat, as well the area’s first full-service bank.
NoMa, which stands for North Of Massachusetts Avenue, is a community that continues to grow. Just north of Capitol Hill and Union Station, NoMa is a former industrial neighborhood that is changing quickly. Now, tons of state-of-the-art DC condominiums and apartments are sprouting up all over NoMa, as well as new businesses.

“Three restaurants, a dry cleaner and a bank have been signed for the 1.6 million square foot Constitution Square property in the NoMa neighborhood of D.C.,” Frederick wrote today. ”A Potbelly Sandwich Works will occupy 2,500 square feet in the mixed-use location. Tynan Coffee & Tea, which has another location in Columbia Heights, will take over 2,100 square feet. Constitution Cafe restaurant will occupy another 6,000 square feet.”
“The development will also feature a Georgetown Valet dry cleaners and a TD Bank,” Frederick continued. “Opening dates for the newly-signed properties have not been announced.”
