Journalist George Stephanopoulos Selling Georgetown Home
Alright celebrity obsessors out there, this blog post is for YOU! According to RealEstalker’s website(yes I said RealEstalker), George Stephanopoulos and his wife, actress Ali Wentworth, are selling their DC home in Georgetown. Stephanopoulos, who has worked in politics, as well as a political television analyst, is moving up to New York City because he got a job with some small time production called Good Morning America. I’ve never heard of it, but hopefully they’re paying him decently.
The home is nice. Really nice. It’s also big, as it spans 5,652 square feet and has 5 bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms. According to RealEstalker, the home is listed for $6,350,000.

RealEstalker has a super long write-up on the house itself and everything inside it. The following excerpt describes how the couple decorated the home when they first moved in several years ago:
“After closing on the their new townhouse, the couple set about doing up the day-core with the assistance of interior designer Elizabeth Martin. They opted for an unabashed and eclectic situation, a real Mister Toad’s Wild Ride where leopard spot curtains and cushions covered in ikat fabric co-exist in a taut and challenging yet surprisingly harmonious relationship with fuchsia colored poufs from Morocco, sofas covered in eggplant velvet, zebra skin rugs and more corals and sea shells than can be found on any sea shore.”
