Donald Trump Wants The Old Post Office Pavilion
There is a buzz going around that Donald Trump is interested in transforming the Old Post Office Pavilion into a luxury hotel that resides on Pennsylvania Avenue in the northwest part of DC. I clearly see why as this is beautiful striking building. But on the other hand, what does this mean for those who live in the DC metropolitan area? It could mean two things: more jobs and more tourists to the area.

Are You A Geek?
If you are geek and live in DC, guess what! According to Forbes magazine, we are listed in the top twenty as of the “Most Geekest Cities” to live in.  If you have ever seen the movie “Nerds” it definitely rings a bell that being a geek back in day takes on a whole different persona than it does now. Forbes of course puts its spin on what makes these twenty cities so geeky.  Check the following article out.

S & P Downgrades Their Credit Rating
Most of us might be well aware that the S&P have downgraded their credit rating of AAA to AA+. Okay, what does mean for those who are trying to buy a house. Well according the article it points out that Freddie Mac and Fannie had a direct reliance on the US government. This well could affect the owning about half of all US mortgages as they also account for new mortgage loans forcing a potential buyer that is looking for a home to pay a much higher mortgage rate.
