Nationals Start Regular Season; Check out DC Condos Near the Stadium!

Downtown DC Condos

The Washington Nationals begin regular season play today, the start of a 2010 campaign that will hopefully have more highs than last year.  Whether you like baseball or not, visiting Nationals Park is a smart decision. The stadium, set near the Navy Yard metro stop in SE, is the center of what many hope will be Southeast’s revival.

The other major draw to Southeast is the large number of beautiful condominiums that are popping up all over.  Here are two of our favorites:

A Capitol Riverfront Community Overview: ‘Progress Being Made’

Capitol Riverfront Condos

Several days ago, I posted our CondoLoft poll of the week, with the question asking how long will it be before the Capitol Riverfront community in Southeast really takes off.   If you haven’t voted, please do. It is a question that is a big one around town, as many DC real estate folks will watch the neighborhood’s future to see whether the plans for the community come to fruition.
Just days after our poll, UrbanTurf writer Tim Brown wrote a really in-depth article profiling the community, and its current status.

Southeast DC Condominiums

Spring is coming soon.  Well, at least, I hope Spring is coming soon, although judging by the weather forecast for the next week or so one would think otherwise. But we’re positive thinkers here at DC CondoLoft! So, I’ll choose to ignore the snow banks that are littered throughout the city, the blustery winds, and the bitter cold, and say Spring is coming soon.
So, Spring is coming soon, and that means warm weather, sunshine, and all that good stuff.  One of my favorite places to visit in bearable temperatures is the …

DC Condo Focus: Savoy Court Condos in Southeast

DC Condos Savoy

The Savoy Court condominiums offer buyers the chance to purchase a DC Condominium in an area that is in transition.  Savoy Court condos, which are located in SE in between the Congress Heights and Anacostia Metro stations, have one and two bedroom units with terrific features.

One of the most exciting characteristics of Savoy Court is the neighborhood.  The DC government is focusing on trying to revitalize the Old Anacostia area, and changes are already being seen.  The Washington Nationals stadium is quite the structure, and there is no doubt it …
