Logan Circle Condos

Right in the center of Downtown DC, bordered by Shaw and Mount Vernon Square, is Logan Circle.  The small, historic district offers DC condo owners an exciting neighborhood with great food and shops, as well as the convenience  to walk to numerous communities in Northwest.  Large, brick townhouses as well as new condominium buildings fill Logan Circle, providing residents a variety of places to live.
At the heart of Logan Circle is the statue that marks the area’s territory.  The statue, which is of Civil War general and senator John A. Logan …

Logan Circle DC Condos

As I’ve written in numerous blogs, I love Logan Circle.  I feel as though the community really represents the best of DC: a true upbeat, city feel.  Within blocks of Dupont Circle, Penn Quarter, Chinatown, and  U Street, Logan Circle condo owners are right in the center of it all.
So why doesn’t everyone live in this place I refer to as some sort of urban oasis?  Well, for one, the prices are generally pretty steep.  Finding a nice home in Logan Circle for under $500,000 is fairly difficult.

Metropole Condos

As you may know, one of my very favorite areas of DC is the little corridor at 14th and P Streets in NW. There’s something about the neighborhood that I just love.  The location is absolutely fantastic, and truly allows residents to walk wherever they wish in the city.  The community is one that is small, yet complete, and should you wish to break out, neighborhoods like U Street and Dupont are right around the corner.
One of the most prominent and eye-catching buildings in the neighborhood is the Metropole.

The Metropole …

Washington DC Condominiums

New DC condominiums could be headed to the 14th Street Corridor.
According to Sarah Krouse of the Washington Business Journal, JBG Cos. “closed on its purchase of Swann Drycleaners, the last parcel needed for its condominium project on the site of the historic Whitman-Walker Clinic”.

The 14th Street Corridor has been one of the hottest neighborhoods in DC during the recent condo craze. Because of its location in the heart of Downtown DC, but also its small-town, community feel, the 14th Street neighborhood has become one of the …

Logan Circle Condominiums

There’s a neat article on UrbanTurf today by Martin Smith.  The story, entitled “DC Buyer: Manhattan Couple Looking for Outdoor Space (If Possible) in Logan Circle”, follows a couple from New York, Andrew and Neal, who are moving to DC.  It’s sort of a like HGTV’s “House Hunters”, but in print form.
After searching through various DC neighborhoods, the couple decided Logan Circle is where they want to be. It’s clear Andrew and Neal are smart people, because Logan Circle rocks. The neighborhood is right in the center of Downtown DC, …
