Hilton Garden Inn is coming to Falls Church, VA. The location will be at the 700 block of West Broad Street which will be next to Burger King. According to Patch in Falls Church, ‘the hotel will have 110 guest rooms, an indoor swimming pool and fitness center and 2,500 square feet of meeting space’. If you like doughnuts, there are many doughnut places in the DC metropolitan area. Doughnut shops such as Krispy Crème, Astro Doughnuts, Heller’s Bakery, Poste Modern Brasserie, Dunkin Donuts, and many more offer a variety of doughnuts to choose from. But what is your favorite doughnut?

It’s Throwback Tuesday of DC Memoirs history of way back when. Check out this photo of Sport Mart that once resided at 1410 New York Avenue, NW in 1923.

Looking at the street view or the map, this place had to be somewhere close to the Camille’s Sidewalk Café.  The architecture of the building seemed to have been updated throughout the years.
