Columbia Heights Condominiums

In the most recent edition of UrbanTurf’s DC community profile, Gretchen Cook examines the 16th Street Heights neighborhood.  The 16th Street Heights neighborhood is one that is often forgotten when considering DC housing options.  It’s a small area, and, as Cook explains, it is much different than Columbia Heights, which lies just south.
“16th Street Heights, the quiet residential neighborhood between 16th Street and Georgia Avenue, is perhaps the complete opposite of Columbia Heights, its neighbor to the south,”  Cook wrote.  ”While Columbia Heights has become a business and retail hub …

Downtown DC Condominiums

New to the DC condominium market is a unit in the Cleveland Terrace building in Cleveland Park NW.
Cleveland Park is a quaint town in the middle of Washington, DC.  Set between Woodley Park and Van Ness, Cleveland Park offers its residents the opportunity to live in a suburban setting in the city.  Connecticut Avenue runs straight through the small neighborhood, and a three block stretch of the road holds all of the community’s restaurants and shops.

Cleveland Park definitely houses a slightly older crowd than its surrounding areas.  Bordered by the …

Rosedale DC Homes

We at CondoDomain DC and DC CondoLoft are always looking to find what the next big DC neighborhood will be.  With gentrification being so common in the District, it could be viewed as a sort of DC hobby, there’s always a neighborhood that is ready to break out.
Northwest has seen several communities make a shift from being untouched by developers to becoming a DC residential hotspot.  From Columbia Heights to U Street, from Logan Circle to Shaw, NW is chock full of this type of neighborhood.
Now, NE is beginning to …

LeDroit Park DC Condos

Located east of Howard University and the U Street Corridor, the LeDroit Park community features large row homes and Victorians.  While neighborhoods like Dupont Circle and Georgetown receive most of the NW DC attention, LeDroit is a lovely area to live just outside of Downtown DC.
Check out this LeDroit Park home.  Currently listed by Coldwell Banker for $899,500, this home at 1956 2nd St. NW is simply beautiful.
This LeDroit Park DC home features three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms.  Set on a “quiet tree lined street”, this home …

Downtown DC Condominiums

Several days I ago I wrote a post about the Mount Pleasant community in NW DC. Sandwiched between Columbia Heights, Adams Morgan, and Cleveland Park in NW Washington, DC, Mount Pleasant is often an afterthought in the minds of those searching for a DC home.
It shouldn’t be though. Mount Pleasant offers a different kind of living than many DC neighborhoods can. Rolling green fills the community, and strikingly large trees tower over the area’s roads, far different than areas like Foggy Bottom and Chinatown that are covered …

Mount Pleasant DC Homes

Sandwiched between Columbia Heights, Adams Morgan, and Cleveland Park in NW Washington, DC, Mount Pleasant is often an afterthought in the minds of those searching for a DC home.
It shouldn’t be though.  Mount Pleasant offers a different kind of living than many DC neighborhoods can.  Rolling green fills the community, and strikingly large trees tower over the area’s roads, far different than areas like Foggy Bottom and Chinatown that are covered by offices.
The homes in Mount Pleasant are generally big, older, free-standing homes as opposed to the modern condominium buildings …
