Wooster & Mercer Lofts – Contemporary Tradition

At the Wooster and Mercer Lofts in Arlington, you have spacious, contemporary homes housed in a newly constructed building with some interesting traditional materials. Jim Abdo, developer of the twin lofts in Clarendon, carefully selected the granite which is standard in the kitchens – it is honed, Italian granite, for high quality and a softer look. And the brick that frames these 87 Washington DC condos is 130 and 140 years old, from the former Washington Children’s Museum. The use of high quality materials from unusual sources is a hallmark of these two loft buildings.
