This is a weekend for us to relax. It’s a great party weekend across the nation, as we watch the Superbowl, even if we don’t care about the teams. DC always knows how to have a good time. Of course, you could enjoy the Superbowl at home – in your Washington DC condominium.

Here’s the spot where you live the 21st century life in a century old historic building. The Yale Steam Laundry is an adaptive re-use DC condominium which is recognized as a superior residence for contemporary living in Mount Vernon.

Back in 1902 The Yale Steam Laundry was the primary laundry facility for linens from DC hotels and government buildings. It was in operation until 1976. The building sat vacant for a number of years, until its’ recent conversion to a contemporary loft residence.

2 million visitors, 5000 porta-potties, and 28000 hotel rooms later, the inauguration of Barack Obama is finished. The crowd that came to Washington DC this weekend exceeded the numbers of the 1964 Civil Rights March on Washington, The Million Man March, and the Vietnam Moratorium protest COMBINED. There’s more good news. Forbes Magazine has named Washington DC as one of the top ten cities for job growth.
