Back in 1902 The Yale Steam Laundry was the primary laundry facility for linens from DC hotels and government buildings. It was in operation until 1976. The building sat vacant for a number of years, until its’ recent conversion to a contemporary loft residence.

The crowd that came to Washington DC this weekend exceeded the numbers of the 1964 Civil Rights March on Washington, The Million Man March, and the Vietnam Moratorium protest COMBINED. There’s more good news. Forbes Magazine has named Washington DC as one of the top ten cities for job growth.
